Yes my rant for the day is …. McDonald workers wanting to earn $15 an hour….
So yesterday I made the grueling drive from El Paso, Texas to the Dallas, Texas area. For those of you who are not up on their geography, this is a trip that takes anywhere from nine to ten hours; on a good day. After about three hours of driving I pull into a gas station that has a McDonald’s attached to it. I get me gas, use the restroom, and then go to McDonalds to grab a bit to eat on the road.
When I get to the counter, I request a double cheese burger with mustard and onions 
ONLY and an order of fries. I knew I would have to wait a couple of minutes for my order but that wasn’t a problem, I only had six hours of driving to go. My order is ready and I grab the bag and jump in my car and drive away. About five miles down the road a couple of miles down the road I open up my bag of food and find out the fries are over cooked (a little on the crunchy side) with no salt. I was hungry and ate them anyway. I also began eating my cheeseburger; knowing it would be fresh since it was a special order. To my surprise my cheese burger had no mustard or onions on it, but it did have ketchup and pickles on it.
I pulled over and checked the little piece of paper they put on special orders and sure enough it clearly states “ONLY REG ONION and ONLY MUSTARD. So now explain to me why a McDonald’s employee, who is usually a teenager, should make $15 an hour when they can’t get a simple order correct, when it is typed out for them.
